Lorie Says - HOW TO BE A CONFIDENT WOMAN

Confidence is assurance, belief, coolness and dignity in oneself.  It means a belief in your ability to succeed. The best way for you a woman to be confident is first you must love yourself.  How can anyone love someone else if you don’t love yourself?
Don’t try to pretend to be someone or something you are not. Embrace your flaws and your gifts and talents.  One author said, “a confident woman avoids comparing herself to others. You are your own person, wonderfully and marvelously made.
Accept constructive criticism. Learn and know that you will make mistakes, and you will fail, but just get back up again. Let others help you, learn from them. Gain wisdom from the elderly, remember they have been where you are in one form or another.
Find where your voice fits. Your voice may not fit in every arena, that’s where you use your gifts and talents, follow your passion.  “Your gift will make room for you.”
Confident women have opinions, and you should not be afraid to share them because what you have to share is important.
Learn to give and learn to take without the shame or guilt. A common trap is to give to everyone, all the while neglecting yourself and your needs. Recognize your limits.
Live in the now. Confident women know that there are no guarantees, cherish every moment and live it like it was your last. Let go of the past, all that you have is now.
Share your smile. When a woman is happy on the inside, it shows on the outside. Be your amazing self. Be happy - when you do it’s contagious.
Confidence does not come from selfishness it involves others. So live L.I.F.E.Love yourself and others, Invest in yourself and others, Forgive yourself and others and Expect great things for yourself and for others.
HAVE A GREAT LIFE
