Fall 2014 Beauty & Health Bootcamp - Detox #2 - CAROL'S VEGETABLE JUICE

We got this recipe from our friend Carol, where this recipe is being passed down to each generation. It's helped their family fight aggressive cancers, diabetes and more. An angel - really, a beautiful person working at a car rental place - gave this to them while they were passing through San Antonio to visit a very ill family member who recovered. Life is sweet. This recipe is just a testimony of what we can do when we help each other and use our gifts and knowledge in the right way.

5-Veggie Juice:
It uses celery, chinese cucumber, red/green bell peppers, ampalaya (bitter melon) and apples.

The health properties of each of these veggies is amazing! It also took us on an adventure to the Asian Grocery store as we needed to pick up the Chinese Cucumber and Amapalya (Bitter Melon). We were unfamiliar with bitter melons - so a great opportunity to learn about this veggie. Check out this site - My Bittermelon. Love the adventure.

We're incorporating this as part of our detox.




Vegetables and Fruits needed to make this juice:
1. Celery - Promotes appetite, lower blood pressure, eliminates fat in blood, reduces weight, helps urinate, eliminates stones, promotes strong teeth, normalizes digestion system organs (internal organs).
2. Chinese Cucumber - Cleans blood, lowers blood pressure, stops frequent thirsty feeling, helps urinate, eases inflammation, increases metabolism.
3. Red or Green Bell Pepper - Cleans liver infection, cleans large intestine if infected, removes moisture, makes strong muscles and bones, removes spots, eases swelling and boils. Good for lungs.
4. Ampalaya (Bitter Melon) - Eases inflammation, reduces frequent thirst feeling, promotes appetite. Neutralizes poison, eases swelling and boils, eases chilliness, nurtures the brain, helps keep good spirit and bright eyes.
5. Apple (Large) - Makes stomach strong and healthy, helps keep good spirit, helps keep digestion, eases muscle pain, eases depression, eases sweating, normalizes bowel movement, beautifies skin.

Ingredients:
Celery - 2 big pieces
Chinese cucumber - 1/4 piece (peeled)
Red/Green Pepper - 1/2 piece (remove seeds)
Ampalaya - 1/4 piece (remove seeds) (Bitter Melon)
Apples - 1 peeled
All must be fresh

How to Prepare:
Wash & Clean Vegetables Thoroughly
Put them together, make juice using blender or better still use a juicer. Add no water.
Make 500 cc at a time or 800 cc if sick.

Direction:
Take the juice in the morning before breakfast
Do not add anything
Take it within 15 minutes after preparation
