So if you don't know this, here's the scoop. Bees are essential to life on earth. Bees do sting, but they have to be forgiven for that...they are busy making honey and who does not LOVE honey.

Honey is one of those ingredients we often don't think about when it comes to health and beauty. But the bees lovingly make it and will sting you if you get in their way...so you better make sure you are incorporating honey into your wellness and beauty regimens.

For our debut collection this Spring 2014, we fell in love with honey. We found a local farm here in Dallas called Sunnyvale that makes raw, unfiltered honey. And our Kalahari Desert Salt Scrubs are made with this local beautiful golden honey as well as our sumptuous handmade whipped body butters.

Unfortunately, most large food corporations process all the goodness and health out of food and replace Nature's goodness with artificial crap that makes all of us sick, cranky and tired. It's deadly what they do, and all for the bottom line. The best way for you to go green in a practical way is to support the local farmers in your area. The best food is food that is not more than 50-100 miles away from you. Obviously, we all like special things and that's nice occassionally - getting something that's been shipped from overseas somewhere but minimize that when you can.

Raw honey is an amazing natural beauty solution for all skin types because of its healing skin benefits. It does wonders for a wide variety of skin ailments including: acne and enlarged pores, rosacea, eczema, hyperpigmentation, sensitive, mature and dull lifeless skin. Raw honey also contains gluconic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid that brightens the complexion, evens out skin tone and lightens scars and age spots.
