Stay tuned for our next 8-week health regimen. Wednesdays are our fast days and we're going to use this dedicated day to focus on the foods we need to add to our regimen. Fresh fruits and veggies and there are wonderful recipes to explore out there.
Basil is an herb that belongs to the mint family and is used alot in Italian cuisine. It has wonderful health benefits: anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and high in anti-oxidants.
Chop up all your ingredients. Mix well. Blend away and after it's mixed let your smoothie rest and I love the lemon moringa smoothies chilled. You can also chop up a South African Baby Pineapple.

2 tea bags of lemon moringa tea - made for 32 oz glass tumblers
1/2 cucumber peeled and diced
1 head of broccoli florets
1/2 cup of pineapple chunks
2 small carrots diced
1 tsp of Chia seeds
2 tsp of basil
2 tbsp of brown sugar
4 scoops of ice cream
